This policy explains how flüf Technology Ltd (“flüf”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the flüf website (flufapp.com) and the flüf web app (app.flufapp.com).

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web app. Some are essential for things to work, like keeping you logged in. Others help us understand how flüf is used.

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies that store or access information on your device, such as local storage and scripts. For simplicity, we call them all “cookies” here.

2. The cookies we use

We keep it minimal. flüf uses only essential cookies and analytics cookies. We don’t use advertising cookies or cookies for cross-site advertising.

a) Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for flüf to work and don’t require your consent:

• Session and authentication allow you to sign in securely and maintain your session while you’re using flüf.
• Security protects your account and prevents misuse.
• Cookie preferences remember the choice you make in the cookie banner.

b) Analytics cookies

We use Mixpanel and Google Analytics to understand how people use flüf, for example, which features are opened, where people get stuck, and how we can improve the experience.

These providers process analytics data on our behalf. Analytics cookies only run if you give your consent through our cookie banner. If you choose not to accept them, they won’t load, and flüf will continue to work normally.

3. How long cookies last

Some cookies only last while you’re using flüf and are deleted when your browser session ends. Others, such as the cookie that remembers your cookie preferences, stay on your device for longer so we don’t ask you the same question every time you visit.

When you first visit flüf, you’ll see our cookie banner, where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. Both choices are equally easy to make, and neither affects your ability to use flüf.

You can change your mind at any time:

• through your browser settings, where you can block or delete cookies.

If you block or delete essential cookies through your browser, some parts of flüf may not work as intended, such as signing in securely or maintaining your session while you’re using the app.

We’ll ask for your consent again from time to time to make sure your preferences stay up to date, in line with ICO guidance.

5. Third-party cookies

The third-party analytics services we use are Mixpanel and Google Analytics, and they only run if you’ve given your consent. We don’t allow third parties to use cookies on flüf for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example, if we add or remove a tool. The date at the top always shows the current version, and if a change means we need your consent again, the banner will ask.
